Everything is Permissible

As with life, when it comes to food, everything is permissible, but not everything is beneficial. Everything is permissible, but not everything is constructive. Nobody should seek his/her own good, but the good of others. Eat anything sold in the meat market without raising questions of conscience, for "The earth is the Lord's and everything in it." 1 COR 10: 23-26

Food doesn't go into your heart

"All of you listen," he said, and try to understand. It's not what goes into your body that defiles you, you are defiled by what comes from your heart... Food doesn't go into your heart, but only passes through the stomach ... For from within, out of a person's heart, can come evil thoughts and all other vile things; they are what defile you." Mark 7:14-23

Don't worry so much about what you eat; worry more about what is in your heart.
